Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy, also known as vitamin cocktail injections. This is a simple, fast treatment with no downtime to boost vitamin and minerals directly into your skin.

In just a half-hour, we’ll use a hand-held device with a microscopic needle to apply a cocktail of moisture-rich vitamins which includes hyaluronic acid and minerals under the surface of the skin to help create a brightening effect, improve hydration, activates micro circulation and maintain your skin tone throughout. The application occurs at the perfect depth of the skin, the moisture-rich formula reaches the cells needed to give your skin the perfect boost, whilst it repairs skin damage by intrinsic factors, skin stress and environmental agents.

Mesotherapy can be used anywhere on the face, body or hair such as:

Face – Hyperpigmentation, photo damage, fine lines & wrinkles, dark circles, acne scarring.

Body – localised fat deposits, cellulite, poor circulation, fluid retention, loose skin and stretch marks.

Hair – Hair thinning and dry scalp.

Mesotherapy is a great treatment with very little downtime involved in the process. You’ll be ready to go just after your treatment session with an instant skin glow.

FAQs

  • Am I suitable for this treatment?

Mesotherapy is for clients who want an instant glow and boost of vitamins & minerals. It’s a great treatment for a quick “pick me up” for dull-looking skin as Mesotherapy helps promote hydration, skin's natural nutrients and skin collagen. This treatment requires no downtime and helps skin rejuvenation within 30-45 minutes.

  • Is it safe?

The procedure is considered to be very safe.

  • Does it hurt?

Minimal like a small prick.  It does depend on the method we agree to use at your consultation.

  • What can I expect after the treatment?

A course of treatments will often be recommended for the best possible results however your skin experts will advise you on the number of treatments you need during your initial consultation.

After your treatment your skin will appear red and sensitive, however, this should subside within 24-48 hours. In the days following you will notice your skin appears smoother, plumper and more hydrated.

  • Are there any side effects or risks?

Solutions that are used in mesotherapy are bespoke, and will endeavour to treat your particular problem areas. This means that side effects may vary from patient to patient, although are always minimal. The body finds the solution administered during mesotherapy very easy to absorb, and as a result, it is no more traumatic to the body than receiving a large, concentrated dose of nutrients. Mesotherapy also has significantly fewer side effects than traditional fat removal methods such as liposuction or BodyTite, as there are no incisions made or sedation required.

Some of the small side effects of mesotherapy can include minor swelling, sensitivity, redness, itching, temporary bruising or slight bulging around the injection sites as the solution settles. These symptoms will typically subside within 24-48 hours of injections, and will heal leaving no scarring whatsoever.
